Flood Story, Noah and Gilgamesh and a bunch of other stories

The flood story appears in more than one culture’s literature. The story of Gilgamesh is far older than the story of Noah. Another flood story from the ancient near east that is also older than Noah is the story of Enlil.
There are many flood stories around the world, google it, you’ll find lots.
As to the others, most other religious literature have stories of death and rebirth as well as a hero’s return. For death and rebirth for instance, the Egyptian story of Osiris is one of the oldest and best known.
